To subscribe, please send an e-mail with NO SUBJECT line to listserv@hermes.circ.gwu.edu saying

    SUBSCRIBE MarkeTeach Yourfirstname Yourastname

i.e.,

    SUBSCRIBE MarkeTeach Jane Doe

(If you have an automatic "signature" or other text in your e-mail setup, you will receive an error message for each line, but these error messages can be safely ignored.

You will need to respond to an e-mail you will receive from the server asking you to confirm that you intended to subscribe.  (This is a security precaution to make sure that some jokester did not sign you up.)  Simply click "Reply" and write "OK" as your message.
